On the 9th of April, at Le Visionnaire (L'Oréal, Paris), Helena Rubinstein and @empow.her unveiled the latest Women Future Makers Award laureates, celebrating entrepreneurs driving meaningful change.
Hosted by @melodymad (founder of Propulsio and Les Eclaireuses), the evening featured an inspiring keynote by Sandra Rey, creator of Anima, on turning setbacks into innovation.
The winner was @vanessagiobarzasi , co-founder of Biobright, who advanced maritime sustainability through autonomous environmental monitoring.
And the Jury’s Coup de Cœur, Bonney Magambo, @hemofab co-creator, reimagines dialysis care. Both now join the Empow’Her Fellowship Program to scale their impact.

With women’s organizations from across the Western Balkans, we came together to build concrete solutions to the growing rise of anti-gender movements in the region. Drawing on shared experiences, research, and feminist solidarity, we developed a policy brief aimed at countering resistance to feminism and making the region more open to feminist values, gender equality, and social justice.
This document was developed as part of the Towards Equality project, supported by the Agence Française de Développement.
