3 years ago, today, @__admiral__atlas & I collaborated and released "Bloodstone" with the help of @chris.dsol on track 2 & @kaustradamus engineering quite a bit.
A tumultuous but, learning experience within the time frame of writing and recording this project. Coming out of COVID, a separation, the verge of homelessness, and a broken ankle/fractured fibula; I was uneasy about life.
But I'm thankful I had a solid support system of friends and family, the SD Hip Hop & music community, the knowledge from years of practice in reflection and acceptance, and my daughter...for ALL of these subjects helped push me through pain and the unsteadiness into a new stage.
The reflection then is as important now than it was then: growth & self awareness. Here's to knowing when to be still & when to move. Thank you 🙏🏿🫡☀️💎~
