Jane Fonda
Acrylic + Mixed Media on Cradled Wood
18x36x1.5
Jane Fonda was arrested in Cleveland on November 3, 1970, on suspicion of drug smuggling after U.S. Customs agents found plastic bags filled with vitamins in her luggage, which she was bringing back from a Canada anti-war speaking tour. The charges were later dropped when the pills were tested and confirmed to be vitamins rather than illegal narcotics.
Targeted Arrest: Fonda was an outspoken critic of the Vietnam War and believed the arrest was a setup by the Nixon White House to stifle her activism.

The best years are only getting started!
I thought I was turning 31, but it turns out Iām actually 32. The same age my mom was when she had me. Itās also the same the age that Lauren Graham was in the first season of Gilmore Girls. āļø

Dream Crusher
This painting is inspired by a childhood memory with my brother. It can be chilling how certain sensations pause you and take you back to relive that moment.
Dreams by Fleetwood Mac keeps coming up, so I thought Iād officially post a formal photo of this piece.
This song always reminds me of riding around in our blue minivan, windows rolled down, mom smoking Virginia Slims, while us kids slammed our Happy Meals in the backseat. šš
