Remember growing up in the era of Buzzfeed listicles, binge-watching ‘Broad City’, and believing that open plan offices meant a utopian future of hipster moustaches and craft brew? Well, uhhh, here we are instead! 🥲
But that doesn’t mean that for one night we can’t exist in a perfect world of 3OH!3 and Kesha’s ‘My First Kiss’, flower crowns, and shutter shades. We’re throwing the emo house party to end ALL emo house parties across Cape Town, Joburg, and Pretoria with the best local talent on the scene 🥰🎸

🚨 EMO NIGHT PRETORIA ON 7 MARCH CANCELLED 🚨
It’s with a very heavy heart that we have decided to cancel Emo Night Pretoria’s Wet Hot Emo Summer on 7 March.
We are in a moment of life-threatening illness in our family, and right now, we need to focus on being present with our loved ones. We know many of you were looking forward to this event, especially after the fun we had in Cape Town and Joburg this past weekend, but we truly appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time.
If you know Cass (@doomed_oracle ) and me (@arismit_ ), you know that we never make decisions like this lightly. And for those of you in the know about what’s happening in our family, we really love and appreciate your messages of kindness and hope so much.
But we aren’t going anywhere forever, we just need a teeny break for now! We’ll be back soon to announce something massive that’s been in the works for a while — iykyk it’s going to be a big one 🖤
