Korea's first EMO Festival For a long time now, the emo and alternative scenes across Asia have lived in fragments: underground shows, niche online communities, fans exchanging playlists and memories of bands that never quite reached mainstream. Soon, those fragments will come together in Seoul for Emotional Damage Fest, a two-day event dedicated to emo and alternative music. On May 29th and 30th, Emotional Damage fest will take place across two venues: Senggi Studio and KT&G Sangsangmadang. Headlined by Wuhan’s beloved emo revivalists, Chinese Football, the lineup pairs the international act with some big names from Korea’s own local scene. 사실 난 추억팔이 좋아하는 recap충이다. 근데 이상하게 이모 활동 관련한 건 늘 무덤덤하게 지나왔던 것 같다. 생각을 정리할 여유가 특별히 없었고, 늘 다음 과제가 기다리는 바쁜 삶은 아마 현대인들 모두 공감할 것 같다. But 내 피드가 포스터만 덕지덕지 쌓여 있는 것도 너무 방치한 느낌이 들어 추워지기 전 사진들을 좀 올려본다. 돌이켜보면 그냥 한국에서의 기획한 이벤트에 와주고 응원 서포트 해주는 사람에게 감사한 마음 뿐이다. 보이던 얼굴 보이면 또 반갑고 뭐 더 해줄수있는게 없을까 생각이 든다. 가끔은 내가 너무 나대는가 내지 이런걸 정말 재밌어 해줄까 하는 자기 의심이 들때도 있다. 그래도 상상과 마음이 가는 곳은 끝이 없으니, 최대한 잡생각은 눌러두고 계속 해보려 한다. 이런 자기의심 자체가 특권일수 있다. 그리고 시간이 지나 돌아보면, 결국은 이모와 그 커뮤니티로부터 다시 힘을 얻고, 내가 이걸 좋아하는 이유를 다시 확인하게 된다 아 여름 그립다. 정말 다사다난했던 이모파티 시즌4:이모를 찾아서 투어.. 아주 야심찬 도전적 기획이 모두 끝나 뿌듯하고 아쉽고 만감 교차해도 함께여서 더 즐겁고 특별하고 행복이 가득한건 200% 팩트. 사진 다 못담아도 함께한 모든 분(매우 높은 확율로 이걸 보는 당신)에게 감사하다는말은 말해모해 그래도 하고싶다. 땡큐진짜쏘머치에요..💟
