Shooting tight versus wide. I’ve heard some say, if a picture doesn’t include both sides of the jump, it’s not a good picture. I don’t agree, at all, what I do know is, as photographers we set out to create visually compelling images. For me personally, I really want to convey the athleticism, dexterity and emotion connected to a high stakes round. It is also a good challenge to compose and capture a tightly framed image, particularly when you’re using a 400mm lens in an indoor arena. And finally, there are so many other opportunities for wider shots, if you ignore the tight ones, are you really providing the best you can for your client? I think you know my answer.

Vanmorgen ging het concours voortvarend van start met de 𝐙𝐮𝐬𝐣𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐣𝐬 tevens kwalificatie voor de Grote Prijs van Deurne.
In een sterk bezette rubriek werd er direct op hoog niveau gesprongen, met mooie rondes en een spannende strijd om de winst.
