Transport Artspace x De Meldkamer Exhibition: When Jeremy and Jack climb the beanstalk and arrive on the clouds, it starts to rain, but that left us wondering; where is the rain coming from? In this exhibition we dive in various works of different artists who imagine alternative visions of the future, different realities or give a reflective view on our current actions. "Reimagening the "powerplant" as a metaphor for plant-power shifts the focus from extractive, and centralized human interventions to regenerative and symbiotic systems. Via themes like the garden, or 'wild' nature we reflect on how we; through observation, alternate future visions and architectural structures, try to understand, frame and control our environment and embrace our failures while doing" Find the posters in the city and find yourself some free seeds to plant at home! Radiator, windowsill, balcony or garden, all will do! (Put in soil as soon as possible and harvest in a month, or swap the 30th/31th of May in de Meldkamer to add more veggies on your windowsill (no garden needed!). Expect to grow your own 'noodpakket, swap seeds on 30th + 31th of may, accompanied by local organic market run by @gardentoshelf , and see the exhibition that goes along with the energy of the initiative!
