When it comes to choosing the right boots, start by looking at your wardrobe and what you wear day to day, once you know what shapes actually work with your wardrobe and your life, it becomes easier to find the perfect style.
I live in a straight leg or baggy jean so a low heeled ankle boot works perfect. I make sure my jeans are long enough to cover the top of the boot so no skin shows between the hem and the boot, a small detail that instantly makes the look feel more considered and modern.

My usual formulaās apply!
- Think about textures, a lot of office looks can look quite dull as the textures are all one dimension, add leather, satin + suede into the mix to immediately elevate.
- Think about comfort + practicality, will it work on the commute, have you got layers for when the air con kicks in, if the trousers are itchy - donāt buy them!
- Think about proportions, a slouchy wide leg trouser + a fitted top or shirt. Or an oversized shirt / knit with a pencil or mini skirt.
- a similar colour palette will make your life easier to mix + match but introduce colour in the pieces you wonāt be wearing multiple x a week. Libbyās blazers / trousers are neutral but she introduces a little colour with her yellow tee or blue shirt. Think about different colour combinations - I love the grey / yellow mix + the beige + white tones.
- add personality, this is hard when youāre young + figuring out your style but adding jewellery like a chunky necklace, ear cuffs or rings can lift your office look. Socks are another good way to give your look a little edge, a low effort / maximum impact styling trick.
- What pieces that you wear at the weekend can also be worn in the office? This is tricky when youāre in your 20s as they can look quite different but Libby will wear her leather blazer or oversized black blazer for both work + weekend.

The first set, I loved the fit and feel (v Toteme) but not sure the colour worked on me - loved on Libby but not sure where sheād wear.
Shorts & Tee l loved, the tee Iāve got in black and white and Libbyās keeping the shorts.
The embroidered wrap skirt I loved but will wear with flip flops and a baggier long sleeve tee - I might even swap for the cream skirt which is longer.
The black trousers and tassel top Iām keeping, the trousers are super comfy and love the relaxed fit - the tops great too.
The frog clasp shirt wasnāt my favourite on - loved it online but on it didnāt do much for either of us and kept popping open.
The trench coat we both loved - such a modern shape.
