I cried putting this together
Looking back at all I’ve done and the dream I’m continuing to build, I'm reminded of how far I’ve come. 🥹
I’ve been so hard on myself, and with how challenging 2025 was, I felt so distant from my dream.
But I put my heart into crafting my story into 2 minutes. Piecing this all together, the process was really powerful! It was a challenge, but also an amazing opportunity, and it made me even more vulnerable through this process.
But I’m so grateful and excited to submit this video and be a part of the @stanforcreators #StanDareToDream26 challenge. 🙌
My dream is to expand my current photo/video one-woman-show business into a storytelling collective that collaborates with other talented creators to tell and capture stories for mission-driven organizations and people. I want to amplify and highlight the stories that are making a real impact. And I’m ready to do that with others by my side. 💜

From camera gear to chargers, hard drives, backup cards, outfits, and all the little things you really don’t want to forget, getting ready for a shoot like this always takes intention. It usually takes me at least 1–2 days to prep everything, format cards, double check gear, charge batteries, and make sure I’m set up to walk in feeling ready.

A photoshoot alone doesn’t always help someone feel seen.
I’ve learned that again and again through this work.
Because being witnessed is about so much more than good lighting, beautiful outfits, or knowing how to pose. Someone can have all of those things and still walk away feeling disconnected from the experience or the final images.
Why?
Because the deepest magic doesn’t come from posing for the camera. It comes from feeling safe enough to fully express who you are.
That’s why my work is about creating the kind of space where someone feels deeply seen, supported, and invited into more of their truth.

There are some stories that you feel the moment someone begins to speak. ❤️
Renee’s story is one of those. Her vulnerability, bravery, and willingness to turn pain into purpose are incredibly powerful and moved me and so many others deeply. The way she shares from such an honest, open-hearted place stays with you.

When I brought her speaker reel together, I wanted to do more than pull a few emotional moments from the stage. I wanted to find the thread of her story — the pieces that could let people feel her heart, her love, her strength, and her deeper purpose, without giving away the full crux of her talk. I know exactly what that feels like because for so much of my life, I felt like an outsider looking in. From elementary school through high school, I was bullied for how I looked, my acne, my weight, and that shallow lens so many of us are taught to see through. It deeply affected my self-confidence and the stories I was telling myself about who I was.
That is a huge part of why I care so much about photography, video, and storytelling.

This is a 3-month storytelling and visual expression program beginning June 11 for a small, intimate group of up to 7 women.
Inside the experience:

🫶Weekly community support and activities inside our Telegram space
🫶 You’ll also receive 2 one-on-one calls with me so we can dive deeper into your unique essence and how to represent your story in a way that feels honest and aligned
🫶 From there, you’ll be guided through an intentional photo and video shoot with me in Denver
🫶You’ll walk away with a library of images and 3 videos you feel proud and excited to share — to celebrate yourself, your business, your offerings, and connect more deeply with your community.

Still thinking about the energy from the Facial Aesthetics Westminster grand opening ✨
It was such a joy to capture this special evening through both photo and video and document a huge milestone for the team. 💗 Their Westminster location marks their ninth business across Colorado, which is such an incredible accomplishment and a true reflection of all they’ve built.
I’ve genuinely loved getting to work with the Facial Aesthetics team and witness the heart, intention, and care behind what they bring to their clients and the community!
Getting to tell the story of a growing business in a way that captures not just the space, but the energy, connection, and excitement behind it, is always so meaningful to me. 🤍
There’s something so powerful about feeling truly seen.
Not just looked at.
Not just acknowledged on the surface.
But deeply seen, witnessed, and celebrated for who you are right now, underneath the masks, the pressure, the performing, and all the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself.
This is one of the biggest reasons I care so deeply about the work I do. 💗
Because I believe so many of us are craving to be reflected back to ourselves in a more honest, loving, and expansive way.
To see parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten.
To recognize parts of ourselves we’ve never fully owned.
To feel safe enough to express who we really are.
