Ok so here’s the thing.
It’s a multi-layered mission we’re on.
If you’ve had the privilege of being in the international arena you know the power of negotiation to impact whole nations. But negotiation with the Spirit of truth is very different.
Part of the assignment is: Matthew 28:19-20.
But the end of that verse shows the whole mission is predicated on RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. Authority beats power every time because authority relies on RELATIONSHIP.
Here’s how God revealed it: countries are surrounded by institutions of the international community (think UN, AU, Commonwealth, etc). Agents of these institutions are deployed to peace-build. So if the mission is to peace-build and the agents are not moving with authority from the Prince of Peace then the game is being played on a weak foot.
The pattern is: you get saved and come to Christ, you get discipled, you mature and grow, then you’re deployed for action. But deployment makes no sense if you don’t have relationship in the first place or as the priority.
So more than just routines, laws and systems - it’s about relationship. Relationship needs intimacy.
God has and is raising royal priests. People that know their royalty is predicated on their relationship with Christ (priesthood).

Thank you Lord for being faithful.
Majesties, Excellencies and Honourables - that’s who decided to meet.
We had our Heads of Government Meeting in Apia, Samoa. Samoans are incredible hosts. This wasn’t only ministerial, but Presidential. And we did numbers. Thank you God.
The principals that agents at UNGA represented were now present.
Ok so we said we’d speak about authority before. Here’s what became clear:
Authority is relationship based.
Authority is for systems.
Authority is when you have legitimacy to represent a source of power.
Authority is not for conquering, power is for conquering, for explosive situations. Authority is more for when things are established.
You conquer with power but rule with authority. Authority commands obedience.
Do not reject authority, you’d be rejecting rulership within a system. You’d be denying yourself access to legitimate use of power.
You’re already in a system. You might just be blind to it.
Still more thoughts to come when I can figure out how best to communicate them…
But for now chale… GHANA IS IN THE BUILDING. Need a post dedicated to how God has been faithful with that one.
