AMOR — DAY 15: Nova Diamond Ring
Everything about today’s ring feels indulgent. Halfway through making an entirely different piece, I changed course because I couldn’t stop thinking about this diamond. I basically designed a ring for me — what would the most luxe, powerful, and self-assured version of myself want to wear?
Since I ended up completely falling in love with it, I couldn’t help but pair it with one of my favorite @kevinogarrett songs (and let the video linger a little longer than usual). Add to all that posting 15 minutes after midnight just because I was having so much fun with it? Pure self-indulgence. 😇
I’ve been saving this 1.70ct teardrop rose cut diamond for something special, and the halfway point of AMOR 2026 felt right. Set in a glossy bezel and mounted on an extra wide, weighty hammered gold band.

AMOR — DAY 14: Fernwater Sapphire
It’s been a while since I posted a ring fitting of an elven princess, so here you go. This one feels like early morning frost on leaves meets waterfall mist. I love that this center stone has some little specks and inclusions inside—it think it adds to the sparkly magic. If you like a stone with character, this one’s for you.
A 1.5ct natural pale green sapphire, flanked with six 2.2mm white brilliant cut diamonds, prong set on a solid 14k band.

AMOR — DAY 13: Cinnamon Pear Diamond
Earlier today I closed my eyes and had a vision of rich gold, rust orange, and reddish brown tones, almost as if you were watching evening sun shine through vintage colored glass vases. When I got to the studio, I knew exactly what stone I needed to use.
This unique warm toned diamond is one of the last from a parcel I bought years and years back. All of the warm cognac amber hues were so gorgeous and autumnal — it felt special to get to use one of these stones again in today’s piece. Refined and elegant.

AMOR — DAY 12: Sakura Tourmaline 🌸
Today is my sweet friend Lisa’s birthday! I was inspired to make a ring that felt like her in ring form — she’d be kawaii, DEFINITELY pink, whimsical, and silly (but I couldn’t figure out how to make a ring silly, any ideas??). Plus, she’s half-Japanese — one of the first things we bonded over — so had to give a little nod to our heritage. Lisa and I have spent many a spring under the cherry blossoms in Golden Gate Park, so sakura always remind me of her.
The Day 1 Moon Flower Redux ring was SO popular, I thought I’d try a different take on it. A gorgeous pink tourmaline (didn’t crack it this time 😅), set in a hand-carved sakura scalloped bezel. This was definitely fun to try—I fell asleep last night trying to figure out the best shape that carve the petals into. The glow on this stone is unreal, and it passes my gemstone test with flying colors (I want to eat it).

AMOR — DAY 11: White Deco Diamond
This ring feels sweet and breezy to me.
If you followed AMOR in 2022 and 2024, this ring might look familiar to you! I have now done this design with a grey rose cut diamond, a champagne diamond, and have completed the trifecta in all white. It would make a great petite engagement ring, or a perfect self-gifted “just because” ring.
A .26ct white rose cut teardrop diamond, accented with brilliant cut diamonds, and drenched in milgrain details.

AMOR — DAY 10: Simone Champagne Diamond
Today felt calm and still (which I honestly haven’t felt since sometime in April). I listened to classical piano in the studio all day while warm sunlight poured through the windows, and I think that quiet found its way into today’s ring.
An oval rose-cut champagne diamond in a crisp bezel setting, accented with French-set pavé diamonds along the band.

AMOR — DAY 9: Stardust Solitaire
This diamond feels like it contains an entire universe. Microscopic salt and pepper galaxies, smoke, and constellations, suspended inside the stone.
There’s something especially fitting about calling a diamond “stardust”. Carbon—the element diamonds are made from—was forged in ancient stars long before our planet existed. And somehow, with the magic of billions of years of pressure, heat, and time on Earth, it becomes this.

AMOR — DAY 8: Rosette Sapphire
A few days ago, I worked on a ring with an oval pink tourmaline at the center. Or at least, I tried to. The stone cracked during setting and the ring never quite made it into the world.
Today’s piece began as a chance to try again. A return to the same idea and soul of the design, but with a new twist.
AMOR is kind of a wild experience for me — very publicly making a ring every day with not much time or space for error means I’m really having to let go and follow the flow. Stones break, designs shift, timelines run over. Here’s to second chances and continuation over perfection. ᵕ̈

AMOR — DAY 7: Rose Window Grey Diamond
It’s wild how much life can shift from one day to the next. Yesterday felt heavy, painful (I had a migraine/associated muscle pain situation, but I’m okay 💛), and a bit arduous. I ended up making three rings total: the original pink tourmaline ring (spoiler alert: the stone broke while setting), Day 6 Angelique Diamond, and a long-awaited custom for a very patient client.
Today felt entirely different—new, creative, hopeful, fully in flow. This ring seemed to spring from my hands, and is a perfect example of why I love doing AMOR. Everything moved smoothly, no mishaps, no fighting the process. I had so much fun making this one, and I already can’t wait to make more like it.
A 1.27ct grey rose-cut diamond set in a scalloped bezel inspired by Gothic rose windows and old leaded glass. This one is mysterious, architectural, ceremonial, and should definitely be viewed by candle-light. 🕯️🗝️

I can’t believe we’re already a week into my AMOR (A Month Of Rings) project! There have been ups and downs, but overall I’m super proud of myself for showing up everyday and sticking with it.
Big, BIG shoutout to *you*. All of your support, words of encouragement, comments on my posts, shares, etc., are giving me the fuel I need to keep at it for another 3+ weeks. Thanks for coming along for the ride. 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏼💕

AMOR — DAY 6: Angélique Diamond
Today ended up being about letting go and allowing a different path to unfold. If you saw my stories today, you might have seen that this wasn’t the original ring I planned to make for today. The original ring was an oval pink tourmaline, and as I was 97% of the way done with the ring, THE STONE CRACKED. 😖😭 The nightmare of bench jewelers everywhere, *especially* when you’re locked into a tight timeline.
After a tiny but audible “nooooooo”, and a second to pay my respects to The Pink Ring That Almost Was, it was time to shift courses. I had played around with the idea of this ring a few months ago but left it unfinished on my bench, and today it practically asked me to finish it. Relieved to have a backup waiting, I happily gave it a chance.
In the end, I’m super in love with this new ring. She’s sweet, classy, timeless (also definitely speaks French)—the one you didn’t plan for, but ends up being exactly what you need.
Three white round brilliant cut lab diamonds, with a center diamond just over one carat, set into a minimal high shine band. This ring would make a perfect engagement ring (feel free to DM this to someone if they need a hint 😉).
