💜 Today, I attended the launch of the national “Go Purple Day” campaign in the Rathcoole Community Centre. “Go Purple Day” is an important national awareness campaign focused on highlighting domestic abuse and promoting the supports available to those affected across Ireland. This initiative, led by An Garda Síochána in partnership with Domestic Abuse Services nationwide, aims to raise awareness of the local services and supports available to individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse. Organisations like Saoirse, and so many others, work in collaboration with Gardai. No one should feel alone or without support. Raising awareness and encouraging access to local services is a vital step in helping those affected get the support they need. #GoPurpleDay #Saoirse #DomesticAbuseAwareness

Important discussions today at the Cost of Disability Summit in the Aviva Stadium on the financial pressures and wider barriers faced by disabled people and their families. Really valuable to hear the lived experiences and perspectives shared on the need for supports, services and opportunities that genuinely reflect the daily realities many disabled people are facing.

Today, I had the opportunity to visit Stewart’s first Regional Equine Therapy Hub in Kilcloon, Co. Meath. This truly special service is helping so many families through the power of equine assisted therapy, supporting children and adults with autism and intellectual and physical disabilities across Meath, Dublin and Kildare. It helps build confidence, communication and connection through interaction with horses. The hub provides a safe, inclusive and empowering environment for so many families. @stewartscare @gilliantooletd
