Dancing with my Selves
Kurt Christiansen
@kurtchristiansenart
Through bold color and layered form, I express the multiplicity of self: the constellation of inner parts, identities, wounds, and protectors that shape who we are. inner landscapes. Each piece is an attempt to make the invisible visible—to give form to what’s fragmented or exiled, and to invite empathy for the complexity within us all. At its core, my work is about connection. I want viewers to feel not only seen, but understood—met in their wholeness, with all their mystery, contradiction, and capacity for healing. On view and for sale at our Emerging Gallery in the HWH building.

¿x? / variantUNKNOWN
Cosmo Bertollini
@chaosmgmt.art
A variant of uncertain significance represents a mysterious alteration in the genetic code, its impact on one’s health shrouded in ambiguity. Without sufficient data, it remains uncertain whether such variants elevate the risk of deterioration. “¿x? // variantUNKNOWN” serves as a visual exploration of my journey in confronting and processing the traumas intertwined with addiction. Addiction manifests in diverse forms, from overt substance abuse to subtler patterns like codependency, negative thought cycles, and enduring states of depression. This piece delves into the complex layers of addiction’s impact on the psyche, inviting reflection on its myriad manifestations and the quest for understanding amidst uncertainty. On view and for sale at our Emerging Gallery in the HWH building.

Flowessence
Marcela Nowak
@marcelanow.art
Marcela Nowak is a Polish-born, Los Angeles–based multimedia artist working across painting, design, and photography. Her ongoing painting series Flowessence merges ocean life with terrestrial ecosystems, bringing marine organisms, florals, and intricate pattern into a single, immersive surface. The work rewards close observation, offering layers of detail that gradually reveal themselves. For Marcela, painting is a meditative practice, a sustained act of focus and repetition that transforms complexity into cohesion. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally, including at Burning Man and in exhibitions across Europe and the United States. On view and for sale at our Emerging Gallery in the HWH building.

The Flight / De las Nuves ala Esquina
ZAYDA GARCIA
ZGLO.LA
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but a map carries a thousand souls. This work explores the ‘Mexistential ‘ gap between what we see from above and what we feel on the ground. Viewed from an airplane, Mexico is a masterpiece of silent geography. But for those of us with roots in Jalisco and Colima, every lane is a memory.
My work is the intersection where high-altitude vision meets street-level grit. On view and for sale at our Emerging Gallery in the HWH building.

The Cavern
Ethan Kotch
@ethankotch
Ethan Kotch is a Los Angeles based Pop-Art artist that finds himself drawn to the space between opposites — where light meets dark, innocence confronts reality, and playfulness becomes a vehicle for truth. His work exists within this tension and is achieved through visual storytelling, exploring the complexities of the current state of our world and how we find our place within it (or outside of it). Ethan delves into heavy, often uncomfortable topics like political unrest, social inequality, LGBTQ+ rights, and the fragile state of our collective mental health – all through a childlike and whimsical lens. His main characters, the stars, help guide the viewer through each painting’s unique story, beckoning us to lay down our fears and reservations, and instead follow their example of courage, joy, and uninhibited curiosity. They are the angels on our right shoulder. The left? Well that is dependent upon the season, setting, and circumstances – a revolving residency. On view and for sale at our Emerging Gallery in the HWH building.
