I thought I was ready. I love writing just because. If not for me, then for the potential. There’s such kinetic wonder in letting your words be a lighthouse that may reach those who need it. You’re still apart of the network even if it is carried out and kept in solitude. But we love off the crowd too (come see flux). Words will always be ready at your disposal, to be a part of momentary and in a way, concretised history. Fuck yeah xpression!

Continued reflections of words I have put out into the world, honouring the warmth in which they were recieved in, along with the communties that we moved through on the way.
Authenticity and fear coexisting. Disdain and empathy working in tune (often pitchy). Keeping those you share an unspoken bond with close and gracefully keeping demons beyond arm’s length. Realising you will sucumb to powers you were never meant to control. Learning that this is okay.
Forgiveness goes a long way. Fail, fail, fail again. Reach out. Bare with us. That’s all for now :)

I made it.
The textures which mould
The sea around my
Motherland have been made again,
No air kisses skin the way
She does
No one’s eyes are shaped more intently
Than hers
Cuba brings the
Birds bees and fruits
Even the pink love-marks
Her mosquitoes leave
Are welcomed into me
Forever looking forward to
Admiring the joy
Of waking up to a morning
I’ll always dream about
For a lifetime.
