Infact, Carl Perkins had hits rising on the charts and was in the race to become known as the king of Rock’N’Roll. However, due to an almost fatal car crash on the way to play The Perry Como Show in 1956 and months in the hospital, Carl never quite regained the momentum he had before Elvis’s version of Blue Suede Shoes took over the airwaves.

Well, due to the lightning ⚡️ and unforeseen circumstances, the band and I were unable to perform at the Cornbread Festival yesterday. HOWEVER, that didn’t stop @grantstaffordmorgan and I from playing a little green room serenade. Thank you @themorgantrail for the motivation!
