12 trad pitches + 12 sport routes + 12 boulders = 36 (years old) 😋 That’s what @rufiomightfall came up with as a “fun” challenge for my 36th birthday !! (A month ago)🫶 @hamminator2017 showed up on her 4th day on to climb the legendary route Epinephrine (in 2 long pitches)!! 🤩 After that, I questioned my life trying to find 12 decent shady sport routes in Kraft canyon, 😅 and got convinced to go to Cirque du Soleil (first photo) which I think is one of the coolest chunk of rock I’ve ever seen!! 🙃 We ended the day at @twincannons and @jumbohoss ’s, they made amazing food and the best dairy free carrot cake 🎂 I’ve ever had (by @amity.warme - obviously 😉) We went to the amusement park the next day, I can’t believe they let kids ride roller coasters!! 😬 📸 @west.of.here.studios

Cliff Dwellers — 5.13a ⚡️ Here’s me flashing @hamminator2017 ’s project after belaying her on it 🤣😘 *sick route by the way! Curious where yall draw the line between flash and onsight. 🤔🤓 In general, if I’ve seen/heard of any moves or belayed someone on a route, I’ll call it a flash (not an onsight). 😋Even if I often retain very little (to no) info while belaying. It feels like there’s a world of a difference between getting the beta spray, watching videos, or even re-creating moves on a board vs just overhearing something about the route. 👂😊 What do you think? Where’s the line for you? 😉 📸 by @west.of.here.studios at the Hurricave, Utah

Wow, 4 climbing days that felt as incredible as winning a paper airplane race… in the eye of a hurricane/hurricave. ✈️🌀😉 While that may sound crazy, I feel like I’ve earned this! 🙃 I’ve been working hard to get back to where I’m at, and I feel like I’m really executing. 😁💥 Things were flowing so well for me that on our final day when I didn’t think I had more than fumes left in the tank, I had my strongest day! 🤸‍♀️💪 Sometimes you just catch a wave of being in the flow, and you keep surfing. 🏄‍♀️ 🌊 I have plenty more to share along with some super cool imagery, but I wanted to start off sharing the news because I’ve been incredibly excited. 🎉 Many thanks to everyone we met, I’ll touch on that in part 2 @hamminator2017 and @rufiomightfall for the awesome company and belays 🙃 📸 by @west.of.here.studios who took so many incredible images, and I can’t wait to share them all

Finally made it to the Hurricave!! I’ve heard about this place for years, but somehow it took me 18 years of travelling around for climbing to get here. These days it’s pretty rare that I end up at a completely new area, which makes this one feel extra special. Stoked that I finally get to get pumped on those routes I’ve heard so much about ! 🙃 📸 @west.of.here.studios on the first part of Curious George 5.13c (Silver Fox)

🔥 My biggest bouldering project to date! 🔥 V11 factorial + V6 factorial & 100 total V-points in a day!! 🙃 About a month ago, @rufiomightfall introduced me to the concept of a “factorial day”, meaning climb one problem of each grade to a certain level. This idea stuck in my head… What if I tried an 11 factorial? The idea felt quite intimidating (mostly because the hardest boulder I’ve ever sent is a V11) but also quite inspiring and motivating. Thanks to @rogontheproj new beta on the recently broken V11, I climbed the V11 to V1 goal and still had the juice to keep going… so I added a V6 factorial on top. With the total up to 87 V-points, Brian said “when else will you climb 100 V-points in a day in the Buttermilks?” With both my energy and the light fading, I managed to pull it off. I’m so glad that my support crew was there to encourage me through because this one wasn’t about strength. It was about the community support that makes these big goals possible. Thanks friends! 🫶

I did Each one Teach One - V11 - which is a really cool traverse into Seven Spanish Angels, the best V6 in Bishop! 😉 Now I’m working on attempting a V11 factorial day. What’s that you’ll ask… that means one problem of each level from V11 down to V1. 😬😋 I don’t know who came up with this ridiculous idea… (😂 @rufiomightfall )… but I like those kinda challenges! We had a practice day where I did a V9 factorial, then got trashed trying to take it to V10 😬… had a fun dance party afterwards though! 💃🪩 📸 epic shots from @dillon.film @dillon_behling
