For working effectively with your emcee:
👉 Have them arrive the day before your event starts.
Not the morning of.
Not halfway through Day 1.
The day before.
Here’s why:
Your emcee needs time to walk the stage, talk to the AV team, and run through any last-minute changes.
They need to connect with you - and anyone else playing a key role - before the audience ever walks in.
You don’t want your first conversation happening in the chaos 10 minutes before doors open.
So if your event is Thursday through Saturday?
📍 Your emcee should be on-site Wednesday.
Simple as that.
Trust me… this one small thing makes a huge difference.
And whatever you do…
don’t have them fly in the morning of.
Just… don’t. 😅
