Today we're feeling reminiscent and have been looking through some old photos taken by our DoP @charlesj.wilkinson photographing our Director Szilard Pusztai on the very first location scout for the @nestproject.movie
When crafting a film, Szilard needs the inspiration of his surroundings to get into the mind of the story and will often start viewing locations before delving into the script work. This way he is able to start experiencing the story before pen hits the paper. Script development and location scouting a married together in pre-production to ensure the vision is brought to life.
The Road Ahead - The first Ember Production Diary. There is a long road in front of us and these videos serve as an insight into who we are, what we are creating and the wonderful people that are on this journey with us.

This lovely location, Wray Castle, sits in the heart of the Lakes, a castle created in recent history to mimic the look and lifestyle of similar historical buildings. Even though it may have a younger history than your traditional castle, Wray Castle still has it's stories to tell, from being used as a scientific research base, to being the place that hosted Beatrix Potter on her first trip to the Lake District (inspiring her wonderful career), this is definitely worth visiting and perhaps shooting a movie there ;)
