7 years sober today! I’ll never forget that I once thought a day wasn’t possible never mind 7 years. I truly live a life beyond my wildest dreams and it’s all because I asked for help, took suggestions, and took action. I’m very grateful for a 12-step program, a higher power that I choose to call God, and everyone who has helped me along the way because we can’t do it alone and we don’t have to.
.
If you’re struggling please reach out to someone and ask for help. You are worth it and you are loved. Recovery is possible and you too can change. WE DO RECOVER! #ODAAT ❤️🙏🏼
Very cool to be on the news for something I am very passionate about and to be with an organization that I love very much. @the_nan_project will always have a special place in my heart.
If you are struggling with drugs/alcohol and or mental health please know that you are not alone and people do want to help. Also, that it is ok to not be ok, and speaking about it is a strength not a weakness. 💙🙏🏼 #mentalhealthawareness
It’s truly inspiring to see my friends making a positive impact in Everett. We’re proof that our paths can intersect in meaningful ways, enabling us to set a powerful example for others. You should be incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished together.
Everett’s own @emazz86 shares his journey from being a star on the football field, to struggling with addiction for many years, to achieving long term sobriety and now educating the youth on substance use. Eric is very passionate about helping people and makes a positive impact in the community. He recently celebrated 6 years of continuous sobriety 🙏🔥💯#recovery #podcast #boston #everett #massachusetts #football #addiction #youthempowerment #reels #fyp #explorepage
6 years of continuous sobriety today and I live a life that I once thought was never possible. I have my dream job and get to give back on a daily basis. But more than that I have peace inside of my heart and an ease and comfort about the way my life is today. This is all due to my higher power that I choose to call God, a 12-step program, and countless people who have helped me along the way. Please don’t ever think it is not possible or that you can’t do it. We can do anything we want to do in life… WE DO RECOVER! If you’re struggling please remember you are not alone and to reach out for help because there is a way out. I would love to talk to and help anyone I can. ❤️🙏🏼 #odaat
