I thought this scene was so funny the second I read it; really clear straight/absurd dynamic, comedically speaking, which I wanted to capture. Hardest part of filming on the day was keeping a straight face opposite the magnetic & effortlessly funny @geraldinehickey PS: Nice to know that you can be quite wrong with styling but that doesn’t matter… Wardrobe were like, “Nah, don’t wear glasses, Emily”😅🤓

We won an award!!! 🏆Thank you @melbfringe & judges & every audience member who came along. Refined is an exquisite play written by the genius @warner_katy and wonderfully directed by @lyallbrooks@labkelpie Our season was so special - I adored playing ‘Miss’. It meant the world to hear from real teachers in the foyer who felt seen🥹 It was also so damn easy acting opposite superstars: @eddie_ort@to.sookyung@lizzyfaulknerr@darcyebryce@_izzyday_ Thank you also to @jasonmovinglights & @jnoonie for your exquisite lighting and set + costume designs, Hannah our tech (and Tim!), and @kungfubevis for our gorgeous publicity materials + @aidankhan_ for our show pics.
