Kept things disco/vocal/commercial for an earlier sunset session (minus the sun) as things moved from day to evening.
Enjoyed playing around with edits of classic house tracks (because it’s not an em.ef.ee set without edits ofc).
Obviously, I put my camera in the worst possible position so you all get to watch my handbag at work in these clips 👜🤪
It was also my first chance to meet the most talented people with the @funkmylife_events crew - sharing tunes, supporting each other, and making new friends for lyfe 💖
From begging a local cafe to let us throw a pop-up to being invited behind the decks at @cafedelmar with @funkmylife_events 🌴

Last month, I tried to overcome the fear of my own voice, and also tried to (messily) mix genres I rarely get to play like jersey club and jungle 🌴
Very out of the comfort zone, and I was about to hop on a longg flight to India…so it was definitely not perfect. BUT very much worth it to share just a tiny portion of the talent out there!

Battled through a yellow weather warning to be re-united with the @svararadio studio last week (pls excuse the windswept damp hair) ☔️
Went back to my garage roots for this one, with all fresh and new house-y n tech-y bits, 4x4 and more - plus some trance to round things off ✨
Next up I’ll be heading to @club.curated Friday @ 6 for a multi-genre hour showcasing the best strictly female-produced tracks around rn 🫡

Opening an event and playing first is not uncommon as a newer DJ, and I was opening the second room so I wasn’t expecting much…
But this room filled fast and everyone was DANCING (which for some reason isn’t always a given at events these days).
Welcoming vibes, incredible people, lots of cheesy disco, an iconic venue, money raised for charity & a very supportive crowd.
I felt really free to play what I enjoyed (which obviously included lots of silly disco edits of classic tracks!)
What more could you want?
