Always a few hours out of town, in between the green and vegetable crops, @nestmicrofest has been a big part of my journey during my time in Barcelona. For the last five years I’ve been a terrible bartender nicknamed “Sally”, Mollie’s sous chef cooking in old masias for 100 people, amongst the brave and bold for Dawidus’ set during a hurricane, and now facilitating yoga with my Elsa. @elzooz and I have always experienced raves together, we met on our way to France and danced in the middle of the Cévennes, we’ve rested bare bodied on wooden islands in Portugal, sun as our blankets. We are both excited to bring our ideas to curate a sensory flow at NEST for tired, dancing bodies. She was the first yoga teacher to inspire me slow. Curated by @amaru___alchemy , deep in the holistic forest is where you’ll find us. Dream State: a slow flow ambient experience with yoga, breathwork, somatic movement, and assists. From building an experience to creating a big community, NEST is home for a lot of people. To be in nature, switch off your phone, and explore interactions with new people is always transformative. dirt, grime, and dance is always great combo.

🌿 Welcome to the Holistic Forest - a woodland sanctuary within the festival, created to offer a softer rhythm and a safe space to rest, reconnect and return to yourself. 🔮 Curated by @amaru___alchemy , the space brings together a selection of facilitators offering experiences around embodiment, sound, movement, creativity and connection with nature. On Saturday 13th June, we’ll be welcoming: ✨@letthatsoulflow , tantric facilitator and somatic yoga teacher, will guide Temple of Aliveness, an immersive embodied journey through breath, movement, sound, silence, touch and presence, exploring what it means to feel fully alive within the body. ✨@em.body___ and @elzooz , a beautiful yoga duo inspired by Eastern philosophy and embodied movement, will guide Dream State: A Slow Flow - a sensory experience weaving yoga, breathwork, somatic movement, poetry, music and gentle assists. ✨@rebeccaesti , 1/2 of @amaru_alchemy and multidisciplinary healing arts practitioner, will guide an immersive vibrational journey through harmonic frequencies, subtle voice and energetic touch, inviting the body into deep rest, regulation and energetic realignment. It’s my last week teaching in Australia. A two month delay, four month embrace. Maybe I needed it. No shoes. To be in the bush!! Friends, family and babies. Retraced steps and sat with boredom, organised myself, became a teacher. I like staying in places for an over extended amount of time, pretend like I live there. Birds have been more interesting than people. Time to pack up again, I’ll try to hold this space in the jungle. Just remember to inhale, and focus on centre brains visual.

Train the brain to not be insane. Do you observe or do you become? I’ve written my first ever sub-stack that’s personal and explorative on my experience with staying in the present moment, rituals and becoming aware. I always like to imagine thoughts as clouds, and myself as the ground, solid and centred. A large distance between myself and the sky, watching clouds passing by with non-judgement. Our thoughts are made from multiple factors. Everything that we have absorbed and consumed since we were born: conversations, our experiences, the news, sounds, genetics, environment, the risks you take or don’t. I feel grateful that there are 177 people in my community and excited to share my deepest and darkest

She’s got her residency! Join me for my weekly classes at Canberra Yoga Space in Phillip every Wednesday and Thursday night for the next month (starting next week) This will be my first official studio class. Birth place, full circle moment. Always have to go back to the roots, don’t ya!? I was turned away by so many studios in Spain and Germany, so I started the outdoor series which most of you came to support. ✨R&R | Restore Reset ✨ Body-breath-led movement that will be playful and intuitive. Come out of the thinking mind and into the feeling body. Over the past few months I’ve been exploring backbends, and in this class I’ll begin to introduce deep twists and balance work [sense of body trust]. We’ll move slowly and intentionally, with awareness and curiosity, feeling every part of the body as it moves through each shape. Because, why rush it? We’ll close with a gentle visualisation and meditation. Saturday morning / 7 February 8AM - 9AM Carlton Gardens Please arrive 5 mins before and bring a water bottle and mat. All levels welcome.
