ATTENTION BEND: The Bend Taco Truck Tour has officially begun!! 🌮 I’m trying all the taco food trucks in Bend! Here’s the criteria:
- Considered a “food truck” by popular opinion
- Tacos must be their main cuisine / menu focus.
- Within Bend city limits
- Open to the public (no private event only or catering only)
We started off strong with El Taquero! 🌮🙌 @eltaquerobend
They have TWO trucks in Bend. One parked at On Tap and the other right outside Colima Market and Big Story Bookstore off NE Greenwood Avenue - We went to this one. The one we went to is more of a walk-up take out option than sitting down to eat.
What I ordered:
🌮 Quesabirria taco
🌮 Al pastor taco
🌮 Pollo taco
🌮 Beef taco
What I wish I tried:
The pizzadilla!! Since this wasn’t a taco I didn’t try it, but next time I will cause it looked so good - has anyone tried it? 🕵🏽♀️ DM me if you have!
Thoughts:
I think they’re a great spot! Definitely would order more of their melted cheese items since the birria was the best by far!
PSA:
I’m not going to give any truck a ranking or anything like that because I’m not a food critic (lol, I just love to eat). I also think going to a food truck (or restaurant) one time and only ordering a few things does not give me the right to “rank” them. One moment of one day can have so much going on, but I will be deciding on my personal top 3 trucks are by the end! 🙋🏽♀️
