Happy New Year! It’s a little late and I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here but honestly I just needed the break after the craziness of the last few months. Not to worry though, I’m back now and raring to go this 2026. I have so many plans for Elstree Soaps this year and the first is to get my new workshop up and running. I moved to London Colney in September and now have a bigger space at the bottom of our garden for Elstree Soaps! I had a lovely workshop before but honestly it makes such a difference being able to do all my making and have my stock right near me instead of having to travel to a second location. I’m hoping to be completely up and running in there in the next week or two. It has a carpet in there at the moment and I have quickly learnt from doing the making I had to over Christmas that soap batter + carpets do not co-exist nicely together. I will keep you all updated on workshop progress soon. First new floors and paint and then time to set it up nicely! All the private soap making workshops going forward will now be held there. In the meantime enjoy this video of some of the soap tops I did last year (that I could find!).
