🌟 Introducing Elsie Ward 🌟
Elsie began her journey at Sinead Loughnane Academy of Dance
@slacademy and over the years she was a part of AED festivals, including Regional and National Finals. As well as competing, she was also fortunate to choreograph for herself and others - some of these winning choreography awards 🤩
In 2017, Elsie worked with Richard Alston Dance Company in their Curtain Raiser, ‘What Happens in the Silence‘ and again in 2019 in ‘Flocking‘. Also in 2019, Elsie worked with Matthew Bourne‘s, New Adventures as part of the Young Cast in ‘Romeo and Juliet’. 💜
This year she graduated from
@artsedlondon with a First Class Honours in BA Musical Theatre. During her time at ArtsEd, Elsie sang at the 2024
@olivierawards and in the choir for the Pippin 50th Anniversary Concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane 🎶
Since graduating, Elsie was in the Ensemble for the workshop of a new musical, ‘The Singing Revolution’, at The Savoy Theatre 🥳
Elsie is about to start rehearsals for the European Tour of ’Grease the Musical’, playing Marty (1st cover Sandy) 🎉
Elsie says, ”Being a part of AED really has shaped me as a performer in many ways. It gave me countless opportunities to perform on a stage in a variety of different disciplines and also allowed me to be inspired by other people doing the same. Choreographing for myself and others over those years was key in my development and I’m grateful to continue to do so for young dancers coming through. To this day, I still have valued friendships that formed backstage at festivals and connections that have continued beyond. I am thrilled to be an ambassador for AED!“ 💜
We are very excited to have you onboard Elsie - your quick success is so inspiring! ✨
