Thank you for all the likes and messages about my book recommendations for @theaalibrary . Books have always been a part of my desk for how to design. Books have always been read across messily as a set rather than one at a time. There were two things I wanted to show: firstly for me these books on “colours” are not so much about colours as they are about the way we perceive the world; secondly, to show precious books that you just have to go to (AA) library for to experience them directly. Before elsewhere, an oldie project from 15 years ago. A building made from water pipes that accumulates snow and ice over time. The models were sealed in snow globes, thats how much water seeps out in 15 years. 🎄

Elsewhere’s Europan entry for the last time. A project for Amersfoort, a building complex of sports hall, car park, housing , community services and park. The new sports hall features a free-span suspended lattice roof, creating an open, uninterrupted ground level. The yellow sports-grade floor extends into the city, forming a large open space for events and activities.
