The Great Pyramids of Giza are a symbol of permanence in a world where lives are short; they are a visual symbol of power in a world where power is transitory. For centuries, humankind have tried to explain the exact method in which the Pyramids were built. It is still mysterious in our modern days’ time.
For the new edition of #Foreverisnow, I wanted to create an immersive experience where the viewer will discover the Pyramids through my art piece Secrets of Time. The artwork invite the visitor to open a mysterious gate towards the Pyramids and unveil a world of imagination and fantasy that you wonder from behind the ropes, where the Pyramids can barely be seen but their presence is still felt.
The pink swirling lines depict the words of the Egyptian Novelist Radwa Ashour ‘Time does not disclose its secrets to humankind’ and aim to contrast with the camaïeu of beige all around, a way to catch the attention of the viewer and invite him/her to reflects on the greatness of the landscape.

كشف المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب يوم الإثنين عن جدارية مميزة على حوائط مسرح عبدالحسين عبدالرضا في منطقة السالمية ضمن المشروع الوطني للفنون الجدارية - الفن الثالث.
الجدارية الفنية تم تنفيذها تخليداً لذكرى الفنان الراحل/ عبدالحسين عبدالرضا متضمنة عبارات من بعض أعماله الفنية، وهي من تصميم الفنان العالمي "إل سيد" @elseed الذي يختص بجماليات الخط العربي الحديث أو الـcalligraffiti، ويأتي تنفيذ هذه الجدارية بالتزامن مع اختيار الكويت عاصمة الثقافة والإعلام العربي لعام 2025.
نُفذّت هذه الجدارية بمشاركة فريق الفنان "إل سيد" @creativemachine.sa sa تحت إشراف وإدارة فريق الفن الثالث في المجلس الوطني. يتميز تصميم هذه الجدارية بتغليف الواجهة الخارجية للمسرح بخط عربي باللون المفضل لدى الفنان الراحل وتزيين هذا الخط بألوان أخرى متداخلة و متراكبة ترمز إلى لحظات الفرح والسعادة التي ما زال يشعر بها الجمهور في الوطن العربي أثناء مشاهدة العروض المسرحية الرائعة للفنان القدير.

In 2014, @nuqat brought me to Kuwait for a project, where I painted the facade of a building with the community at the Sheraton Roundabout. Now, after 12 years, I have returned to Kuwait for a new project with @kw_nccal , where I am painting the four facades of the Abdulhusain Abdulridha Theater.
On the day we began this new project, they demolished the facade of the building I painted in 2014. I love the poetry of life.

We brought the Olive Petrol bottle from Gabès with us, a small piece of home meeting his. It sat with us at cafés, in studios and on rooftops.

2025 was a very special year.
I began the year with many goals I wanted to achieve: new projects, new collaborations, new dreams. Then, when you least expect it, life tells you to slow down. At the end of April, while playing football, I ripped off my Achilles tendon. I had surgery to repair it, wore a cast for six weeks, a boot for a month, and then underwent six months of physiotherapy. For months, I could not really move. I had to relearn how to walk, and this week I was able to run again. I used this time to reflect and redefine my priorities.
In recent years, I felt I needed to be everywhere, that I should not miss any opportunity. I realised that I am my own opportunity. Life is not a race; there is no need to try to reclaim time you think you have lost, or to feel you must prove anything to anyone. I postponed some projects that I hope to achieve this year. I took time to refocus, and now I am focused.
