Hi friends! I’m going to be exhibiting my work in the Artwear fashion show next month. It’s a free event in Somerville, Massachusetts. I have 3 original characters I’ll be portraying through the lenses of fashion design. Come check it out if you’re in the area! 💖🧵🪡
Guys!!!!! He is done! Wow what an amazing day! Bringing the Heron out on the floor for the first time was magical. We have been working on him for months so to finally see him come to life was so satisfying. Thank you to everyone who expressed their excitement and love of puppetry to us. Our time at the masquerade was also amazing as we rocked the stage and took home the award for best prop! Special thanks to my partners in crafting crime Kay and Brittany for helping pull this all together. I am putting together of video of him moving and our stage walk so please look forward to that in the next few days:) 💖💖💖
i don’t recommend crunching new projects but…
sometimes the adrenaline of a tight deadline can push you to a new creative accomplishment.

The chubby bunny challenge was a social media trend during the early to mid 2010s that involved a person shoving as many marshmallows in their mouth as possible. With each marshmallow the player would say “chubby bunny” until they no longer could voice the words properly. The words “chubby bunny” alludes to the way a persons face looks after shoving 20+ marshmallows into their cheeks, giving the challenge its name. In a group setting, the player with the most shoved marshmallows would win. Often times this activity was captured on video and posted to YouTube, vine, or maybe instagram …(i don’t remember when they added video posts) While fun in nature, the chubby bunny challenge posed a serious threat to young social media users who wanted to partake in this “challenge”. Sometimes, when the players did not have marshmallows, users would instead opt for grapes or other similar shaped foods. This trend of dangerously eating food on video did not end with marshmallows but instead evolved. “The cinnamon challenge” and “the tide pod challenge” are just two examples of social media users eating dangerously for “the vine” or now referred to as “the bit.”
Prompt used: Explain that thing you and your friend briefly mentioned back when you were day drinking in Savannah a couple weeks ago.

Squirrel Fashion!!! 🐿️ I had the pleasure of participating in the @apollinairetheatre upcycled fashion event this weekend! I had so much fun meeting my fellow designers and enjoying the other festivities of the evening.
The Knight Carnival 2025! Wow! This event was truly a whirlwind of fun and excitement. The Knight Carnival was in the works for a while and it all came together so beautifully. I am so grateful to have been able to team up with the folks at @thebrightonbazaar to make this happen. I cannot thank all of our incredible entertainment enough for showing up and killing it. In addition, I want to point out how fantastic all of the artist vendors were. I was amazed at the skills this collection of artists turned out to show. This night will be remembered by all those who arrived to participate in the merriment. Thank you to everyone who made this happen! And a big thank you to everyone who showed up to enjoy The Knight Carnival!! 🧚🧝♀️🧙♂️⚔️👑🐟🐱
Three cheers for our co-host, flyer designer, and founder of @medievalmerriment , @elsathefool ! Elsa the Fool is a mixed-media artist who designs and fabricates production art that connects back to her roots in South Louisiana. She relocated to New England in 2023 and worked at the iconic Luna Theater inside the late Mill No.5 in Lowell (RIP) which makes her an honorary local.
Her connections made at the Mill spawned a collaboration that brought the first Medieval Merriment event to life, in January of 2024. The free event was a huge success, bringing local families, students, artists, and seekers-of-unique-fun together in celebration of this mirthful theme.
Fast forward to present day, and Elsa is collaborating with another local marketplace (us duh!!) to bring Medieval Merriment to the goode folk of Brighton. She even has a puppet show in store for you, ahead of MCing the Carnival’s costume contest 🏆
