post-Glasshouse, this era is basically me vs my own brain. trying to be a bit braver by being more unedited, show you the unhinged and what I’m sometimes scared to say out loud.
stories moving between nights fuelled by alcohol, trying to understand my own internalised misogyny, to trust my own opinion over everyone else’s. and trying to love the fact she a probs never be a ✨ chill ✨ girl

drive straight is about being caught in between two worlds at the same time. on the outside, you’re falling for someone, but on the inside youre terrified. you’re driving with the roof town, with that nearly summerrr feeling, but you’re stuck in the loop in your own mind, listening to the ghosts of failed relationships and the ‘what if’ spiral 🌀🌫️
CHAPTER TWO HAS BEGUN I wrote this song when I was in Mexico city last year with @itsmontebello . sometimes when I write songs the lyrics come out of me and I don’t realise until I write them that it’s how I’ve been feeling about something. sometimes you’ve got to drag yourself out and fake it till you make it - it’s about remembering who you are and what you came here to do. its a new dawn and it’s out now! Tide is turning let’s get low 🪩
