From my first ever shoot with @veirastudios - we’ve now done a few shoots together and it’s always great to get creative and try new things. I love the lighting in these portraits. Finally getting an evening at home watching the sunset out of our window after a few days of blue skies and sunshine are making me sooo excited for spring and summer. I won’t even need to jump on another 15 hour flight - the sunset, sea and pretty skies in the UK will be enough to fill my cup. Although that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t love to be sitting back on a beach resort in south East Asia with a cocktail 😏 Maybe it’s time to get the bikini out to sit on the balcony… or maybe I’m getting ahead of myself 😅 10 points if you can guess what I’m laughing at in pics 3 & 4?!!

Happy Easter!! The only egg that really matters in my life is this purple spotty one, and of course the icon who’s reborn onstage every single performance… Baby Dragon!! Yes that’s right, I’m back on tour with ‘There’s a Monster in your Show!’, working with a super talented team of old and new faces 🤩

I’m back in London after 3 another stint on the cruise with @tomhollandhare !! I’m going to be honest, all the travelling from the past few months has absolutely wiped me out, and although it was amazing to visit some new countries over the last three weeks, I spent a lot of the time really struggling with illness, sea sickness and hormones 😭 You know, first world problems, but I feel guilty posting the best bits without acknowledging that it wasn’t all smiles and street food 😂 I’m very grateful for the all the fun days we had, especially all the times I got to live out my childhood dreams. I felt like I had a responsibility to push through and find the energy to go Sylvanian Families shopping for 10 year old me 🤪 and I’m glad I did, because my inner child had me constantly exclaiming ‘that’s so ridiculous and cute!’ And it wasn’t just Japan that had an admirable sense of whimsy, but this day in Osaka was a particular highlight, so these photos are getting dumped first. A late back on board time meant we could really make the most of one day in this city; Pokémon, Ghibli, Sylvanians, street food markets, first signs of cherry blossoms, Team Labs, Okonomiyaki, Matcha, crazy streets, shrines… I loved it all!! And I did a really good job of not buying EVERYTHING (I did buy some things, 10 year old me would have been livid if I didn’t come away with at least some rare and exclusive Japanese Sylvanians!) Scream it with me 🎉💃🧙‍♀️ Then let’s go disgust some disgusting men with our cellulite and body hair. How are you celebrating? How I’ve been celebrating International Women’s Day when it’s more obvious than ever that the world is run by war-mongering men who are attracted to children… I’m challenging mine and others ingrained beauty standards so that my thoughts about my body aren’t dictated by rich, ugly, white p**dophiles. I’m focusing on being strong, powerful and assertive so I can battle the patriarchy whenever I get the opportunity. I am looking up to older women who are healthy, happy and wise, rather than women who are younger, thinner and less experienced than me, because why would I aspire to be an easier target to oppressive, sick-minded men? I’m trying to seek out the voices of women across the world living under oppressive regimes and in war zones that don’t have any of the privileges I have. It’s easy to say ‘I feel helpless’, but changing my algorithm so that I’m listening to and engaging with content every day from people who’s voices matter rather than mindless capitalist crap has got to be a start right? I’m calling out those who hold misogynistic and patriarchal views wherever and whenever I come across them. This can be scary when those people hold any kind of power over you, but if you can’t call it out from a relatively privileged safety net, who can?

Eloise came home for a few days and even though she was working from 9-9pm she still helped me out with some reels, that girl never stops working! You know what’s fun? Rolling around on the floor with pizza 🍕 I actually went off pizza for a few years, like to the point when I would groan if friends would say ‘shall we just get some pizzas to put in the oven?’ and spent a week in Italy without eating ANY pizza. It just wasn’t right for me, so I didn’t push on through and eat the pizza anyway, I trusted the process and left pizza alone until it started calling to me again. And a few years later, I found myself fancying pizza again. Everything comes around in seasons… Trust the process, be patient, wait for your pizza season to come back. I’m living in mine now and it’s really tasty 😏 Has pizza started not sounding like a real word to you yet…?

A month ago we were legging it up mountains to watch the sunset and now I’m legging it back to my digs in the freezing cold to watch Netflix. Such is life, everything comes around in seasons, and it’s all just an important reminder that I must continue trying to escape the UK every January. Last week I was saying that the cold and rain was a refreshing change, and this week I’m saying ‘f**k I can’t feel my fingers’ 🙃

A black and white moment with @robjamiesonportraits starring my painting dungarees. They’ve seen a lot, they deserve a moment in the spotlight and I think they did a good job of giving *~fashion~*. From set painting in the back garden to shining under studio light, their versatility is giving me a run for my money 😏 Couldn’t choose, so posted loads, favourite?

Just recovering from the longest flight ever and reconnecting with my own bed after spending a lot of time apart 💔 As much as I love cancelling January, I’m very glad to be back home doing normal boring things like supermarket shopping, walking down the street in the rain and taking the car to the garage. After spending a couple of weeks on a ship, I’m very grateful to have both privacy and natural light in one place.
