My finished piece for @thebushwickcollective 2022 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Very grateful for the opportunity to rock at such a cool event surrounded by a wealth of talented people. I took the original reference photo on the block where I was painting to reflect my experience in the neighborhood. Big ups to Joe, @kobrapaint and everyone that worked hard to make it happen!

Our piece for @treefortfest 2026! An homage of sorts to the hip hop energy that led us into this life of mural painting. The music, skateboarding, graffiti.. they all ran together in a colorful tapestry of people and experiences that formed the foundation on which the Sector style is built. We had an opportunity to paint some local history last month, stoked on how it turned out! Lincoln declared Idaho a territory in 1863, creating a path to its future statehood. The construction of the Arrowrock dam (seen on the left side of the wall) and the New York canal system ushered in a wave of agricultural development in the Treasure Valley. Much of the original growth in this area stems from the use of these waterways, which remain vital to this day 💧
I painted this as a note to myself, and thought about a lot of things while making it. I have to admit that 2025 has been a pretty tough year personally, with some of the hardest mental and physical challenges I’ve ever faced. Tbh I had to force myself to sit down and finish this piece which seems equal parts ironic and cathartic 😂 It’s easy to lose yourself sometimes, and in those times it can hard to decipher a path back. But there is. It’s important to keep going, growing and showing yourself the value of our time here. Much love to everyone as we close the chapter on this year and look forward to whatever comes next ✌🏼❤️ -Hawk
