This photo of 21-year-old me (the blonde guy in the middle) has been shared quite a bit this week, and it still carries a lot of meaning.
Denison’s improv group, Burpee’s Seedy Theatrical Company, is the oldest collegiate improv group around and is still going strong today. I’m proud ; we were doing our thing long before every college had an improv troupe—and long before new formats were just a Google search away.
I’m surrounded here by some of the funniest people I know. Our ensemble work emphasized taking risks onstage and pushing each other to make bold choices “out on a limb,” knowing the others would jump right in and support it.
It’s a great snapshot of that time—of creative energy, a fuller head of hair, and a group of friends who have since gone on to become leaders in their fields.
Just wrapped up 8 terrific weeks of long-form improv at crossroadscomedy. Super fun graduation show, awesome classmates, great audience. Special thanks to Rachel S!!!
Temple University has an amazing Film and Media program, so I really enjoyed working with 2 talented seniors (@isabellamariafilm , @_madeline.manning_ ), their amazing crew, and an awesome cast in Philadelphia today. The test shoot for @thegreenroomfilm was lots of fun, and bodes well for their final production. ....and the spaghetti
was delicious, too!

Two roles in the short "Happy Mothers Day." In the first role, some clown kills me. Critics say the way I acted the part of the dead husband on the floor was some of my finest work.🤣 ...but my role as a cop trying to stop the clown from more killing was a close second.
