Ellingham Hall has added another National accolade to its trophy cabinet.
We were named the UK’s Best Historic Wedding Venue by judges at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) 2026. The news came on the same day we received a winning accolade from the Hitched Wedding Awards which was double delight for our passionate team!
Last autumn, we were crowned Regional Winner in the Historic Venue category for the North East and Yorkshire.

"We cannot recommend Ellingham Hall enough. After visiting several wedding venues, there was always something missing, but from the moment we arrived at Ellingham Hall, we just knew it was our dream venue. The stunning grounds speak for themselves, but what truly set it apart was having exclusive use of the venue for the whole weekend. With our guests travelling from all over the world, being able to stay all together onsite (along with our dog!), and all meals being provided, made everything seamless.
The team were absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding. We handed over our timeline the night before, and they executed every detail to perfection, right down to matching the salt and pepper cellars to our gold cutlery! Their care and attention to detail made our wedding day feel effortless and truly magical."
