a homebody in the wild — i listen to radio mystery theatre, do puzzles, collect candles, arrange flowers weekly, eat way too much sushi and my phone is on 18%, don’t be fooled.
There’s something about sitting at the footstool of your elders listening to the words of wisdom they’ve acquired over time.
After conducting 10+ interviews and photographing each one, I had to sit back and marvel at the idea of lil ol me co-producing a collection of voices, ideas and images that mean the most to us as a culture.
Crazy to think that I hadn’t picked up a camera for photography in 3+ years. I truly understand the responsibility of capturing folks with dignity. Hopefully, my subjects are proud. #powerofwords
