Most people want growth. But very few pause long enough for self-discovery. Before confidence, leadership, or career success, there’s awareness.  Because it’s hard to grow into the right direction when you don’t fully understand who you are, what drives you, or what kind of life you actually want. That’s why in the SHINE Framework, we start with S - Self Discovery. Self-discovery is the foundation of growth because it helps us: ✨ Recognize our strengths beyond job titles ✨ Understand what drains vs. energizes us ✨ Identify values that guide our decisions ✨ Build confidence rooted in clarity, not comparison ✨ Make intentional career and life choices I’ve learned that growth doesn’t always begin with having everything figured out. Sometimes it starts with asking honest questions about yourself, even the uncomfortable ones. ❓Who are you becoming outside of expectations? ❓What kind of impact do you truly want to make? ❓What version of yourself feels the most authentic? The more self-aware we become, the more aligned our actions, relationships, and goals start to feel. Growth becomes more meaningful when it’s built on self-understanding, not just pressure to keep up. #SelfDiscovery #PersonalGrowth #Leadership #CareerGrowth #Mindset ProfessionalDevelopment SHINEFramework EllenAubee

“What a day in the life of a purpose coach looks like…” ✨ Honestly? It’s not always quiet journaling and deep conversations (although I love those moments 🤍). Some days look like this: ☕ Early mornings with my planner, mapping out sessions for SHINE 💬 Coaching conversations that go deeper than expected 📝 Voice notes, reflections, and a lot of thinking in between 🎉 Then switching gears, coordinating events, managing details, making sure everything comes together beautifully It might seem like two different worlds, coaching and event coordination. But for me, they’re actually connected. Both are about creating meaningful experiences. One is internal. The other is external. One helps you find clarity within yourself. The other helps bring moments to life that people will remember. And in both, I’ve learned this: The little details matter. The energy you bring matters. And intention changes everything. 🌿 This is a glimpse of what building SHINE looks like behind the scenes, not perfect, sometimes busy, but always purposeful. 💬 I’m curious, what does a “day in your life” look like right now? I didn’t always know I would become a life coach. For a long time, I was just going through the motions, achieving, showing up, doing what was expected, but still feeling like something inside was missing. There wasn’t one big turning point. It was a slow realization through reflection and honest questions about my life, identity, and direction. 💬 I started asking myself things like: What do I actually want? Who am I when I’m not trying to meet expectations? What would it look like to live in alignment with myself? That’s where everything started to shift. 💡 I began my own journey of self-discovery and healing, and somewhere along the way, I realized something important: Purpose isn’t something you chase. It’s something you remember. That realization eventually led me to coaching. Today, I help people who feel that same quiet disconnect find clarity, reconnect with themselves, and take aligned steps forward. That’s what SHINE means to me: Self-Discovery, Healing and Growth, Inspiration and Vision, Nurturing Relationship, Empowerment and Action.  📌 If you’re in a season of uncertainty, you don’t need all the answers yet, you just need to start listening to yourself again. What a beautiful experience! 🌹 “Poured with Purpose” was the perfect theme for last Thursday’s @crittentongw Annual High Tea at @tpcpotomac . I’m so grateful to have been part of such a delightful and inspiring gathering, surrounded by phenomenal women leaders. Congratulations to all the Honorees for your servant leadership in the community and beyond! A highlight for me was the powerful panel featuring young ladies who courageously shared their voices, insights, and perspectives. Moments like these remind me how important it is to create spaces where the next generation feels seen, heard, and empowered. Job well done to Sheena Foster and her incredible team for such an impactful event! Thank you for the invitation! #HighTea #PouredWithPurpose #GirlsEmpowerment #Gratitude #WomenEmpowerment Leadership PurposeDriven Community

Last Thursday, I had the honor of stepping into a room that reminded me exactly why purpose matters. As a panelist for “Shaping Young Leaders: Women’s Series of Growth and Courage” hosted by @crittentongw I joined three phenomenal women leaders to pour into the next generation during Women’s History Month. But this wasn’t just another panel. It was a moment. A room filled with brilliant, bold, and gifted young women each carrying potential, questions, and untapped greatness. As I looked around, I didn’t just see attendees. I saw future leaders, visionaries, and change-makers in the making. And I couldn’t help but reflect on my own journey. 📌The moments of uncertainty. 📌The seasons of growth. 📌The courage it took to say “yes” to purpose, even when I didn’t feel fully ready. What made the experience so fulfilling wasn’t just speaking, it was connection. Seeing their eyes light up. Feeling the shift in the room. Knowing that something shared may help a young woman make a different decision, take a bold step, or believe in herself a little more. I’m deeply grateful to @crittentongw for the opportunity to serve, to share, and to be in the room where purpose is being awakened. 💡 When we shape young leaders, we don’t just change lives, we shape the future. This month, as March comes to a close, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude. Celebrating Women’s History Month 2026 has been more than a moment on the calendar, it has been a powerful reminder of the rooms I’ve been graced to sit in, the conversations that have stretched me, and the women who continue to redefine what leadership looks like. I’ve had the honor of sharing space with phenomenal women. Visionaries who see beyond limitations. Servant leaders who lead with humility and purpose. Industry leaders who are not just building businesses, but shaping legacy. Women who are not waiting for permission… …but are boldly walking in their calling. In those spaces, I didn’t just observe, I learned. I listened. I was challenged. I was inspired to go deeper, show up stronger, and lead with even greater intention. Because when women gather with purpose, something shifts. There is wisdom exchanged, courage activated, and purpose awakened. And I am reminded… that we are not just witnesses to history, we are contributors to it. To every woman who is showing up, building, serving, leading, and becoming, I celebrate you. I honor you. And I am grateful to be in this journey alongside you. 💡The work we are doing matters. The legacy we are building will speak for generations. #WomensHistoryMonth #GivetoGain #WomenWhoLead #ServantLeadership #PurposeDriven LegacyBuilders

The Image of LeadHERship: Image as a Critical Tool to Breaking Barriers Through Representation. On March 18th, I stood in a room filled with powerful voices as I moderated a CSW 70 Parallel Event hosted by @louisaakaiso_1 Dr. Louisa Akaiso, founder of @womenwhowin_africa . Aligned with the CSW 70 theme, “Women’s full and effective participation and decision making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”   This was not only an inspirational session but all the speakers gave us tangible evidence that we can use to make a positive impact in the lives of others.   The dialogue in the session included:   ➡️ Why Image and Presence Matters?   ➡️Breaking Barriers in Public Administration.   ➡️ Connection to Gender Equality and Violence Elimination.   ➡️ How Image Challenges Stereotypes that fuel Discrimination?   ➡️ The role of image in Empowerment of Women and Girls. This experience reminded me that: When a woman aligns who she is with how she shows up, she doesn’t just enter rooms, she transforms them. 📌 How are you choosing to show up? #LeadHERship #CSW70 #EventModerator #WomensEmpowerment #PurposeDriven Visibility

FEELING STUCK ABOUT YOUR PURPOSE? Here are 3 things you can do THIS WEEK to move forward on your purpose discovery journey — and start seeing real clarity. 📌Too many people think purpose comes from waiting for a big moment of revelation. But in reality, clarity grows through intentional action. Here are three practical steps you can take this week: 1️⃣ Identify the patterns in your life Take 30 minutes and write down: ✅the problems people often ask you to help solve ✅the skills that come naturally to you ✅the topics you enjoy learning or teaching about Why this works: Purpose often hides in patterns of service and strengths that we overlook because they feel natural to us. Outcome: You begin to see themes in your life that point toward your impact. 2️⃣ Serve someone with what you already know Offer help, guidance, or insight to one person this week. It could be: ✅mentoring someone ✅sharing advice ✅teaching a skill ✅encouraging someone through a challenge Why this works: Purpose becomes clearer when your gifts are activated in service. Outcome: You start to see how your experiences and knowledge create value for others. 3️⃣ Use your voice Share one idea, lesson, or story publicly this week. ✅Post it. ✅Teach it. ✅Speak about it. Why this works: Your voice reveals your message. When you communicate your ideas, you begin to understand what you are called to contribute. Outcome: You gain confidence, clarity, and visibility around your message. Purpose is rarely discovered in isolation. It is uncovered through reflection, service, and expression. Question for you: Which of these three steps will you take this week? #purposediscoverycoach #womensempowerment #leadershipdevelopment #shinecoachingframework
