When @ellechaps filmed one of the most emotional scenes in @themadisonpplus season one, she wasn’t quite acting.
Standing at a scenic gravesite in the Montana wilderness, the Clyburns—the family at the core of Taylor Sheridan’s new show, no relation to the Duttons—lay to rest their patriarch and his brother after a tragic plane crash.
The actress, who plays the younger Clyburn daughter Paige, found herself transported back to her own father’s funeral when she was just 11 years old.
“It took me right back to that moment. When Michelle [Pfieffer] grabs my hand in that scene, that was when I was really losing it,” she tells T&C. “She made me feel so protected and safe in that moment.”
