probably the coolest thing i’ve made to date and definitely the most significant & sentimental. i was so happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the day in such a meaningful way 💕
it was also by far the most mind boggling thing to figure out how to make!
when i sew, most things i make, i’m making for the first time. not only had a never made a veil before but was also attempting a unique shape - which doesn’t come with instructions. so a lot of brain power went into this 💆🏽♀️💆🏽♀️💆🏽♀️ & ofc lots of love 💖

a lot of sewing happened in 2024 !!
last year i wanted to sew more and aimed for once a month. although i didn’t sew during every month of the year i sewed well over 12 things … 38 to be exact 😆
super proud of all the things i created especially as not a single pattern or full tutorial was followed. i designed everything myself and created my own patterns when needed. i attempted much bigger projects than i have in the past, learning new techniques along the way and expanding my skill set. i also made clothing for someone else for the first time !

I made myself a satin lined bonnet to protect my hair whilst I sleep. It’s extra large so it will be able to fit braids etc. I’m so in love with the print, the colours are so vibrant !! 😍 It also happens to be exactly the same print as my fave tiktoker @cocosarel ‘s bonnet so now we be twinning hehe 👯♀️🤎
