🦡 Ending 2025 with a shout out to our brilliant badgers! 🦡 Devin @dev.oid , Alex @dadvibesnstuff and Ella @ella_perhaps began the year as awesome regulars at our Sunday hangouts. By spring they were trained up, hosting hangouts and helping shape Badge Cafe’s future. Legends! Big love too to the brilliant Letty @le.ts.lets.le.ts who did fab work hosting hangouts over summer and autumn before moving out of London. They’re awesome. As is OG team member and all round superstar Josa @project.josa , who still helps out sometimes from Sheffield as they continue their art therapy training. And big love to the indefatigable Natasha @_natasha_jackson who has been a dynamo behind the scenes spreading the word about Badge Cafe and helping us grow. 🥰 It’s been a privilege - you’re all amazing - and we’re just getting started! 🥰

Damage Control (+Murmurations) at Riverside Studios, then the absolutely gorgeous Big Big Sky at the Hampstead Theatre (in which, among other things, one character has to finish three pasties every single performance)

More wonderful things at the Bridge--four Talking Heads, and also Mark Gatiss.

Beat The Devil at the Bridge ft. Voldemort. I have missed this place.

Stewart Lee close-up after launching March Of The Lemmings: "Did you get the actual sweat on my brow? --Good. That means today counts as work." And then came jazz.

Kinda gave Stephen Fry directions, and met Sam and Mark, and clearly my hair was very excited.

Gary Numan is back. This time, it's orchestrated.

Most of Rudy Francisco--Sabrina Benaim and her favourite mug--Neil Hilborn, overwhelmed by England. Like theatre, but cheaper, and blue.

Pity at the Royal Court--complex and stylish and often on fire. The thing runs like a fever dream from town-square ice-cream philanthropy to absolute, burning despair-- //the chasm widens// "Oh. I'd forgotten all about the other things that could happen...".

I just met the real Alan Bennett, his accent glorious as in the films, at Stage Door after the fantastic Allelujah!--"Oh, many a knicker I've freed from a chandelier in my time--you wouldn't believe...". His first new play in a while, and he really is back.
