It’s hard to believe that over five months of work is finally done. When I started this project, I wasn’t expecting it to reach the scale that it has become. Originally, it was supposed to be a 5 min short. Instead, it grew into something much more and helped me in more ways than I expected. From guns shots to cameras breaking to hard drives frying to projects being lost, this project has been a hard one, but it has made me grow as a filmmaker. This is my most special and memorable project to date. I am so so proud of it. THANK YOU to all the people who made it possible. I couldn’t have done it without you! I couldn’t have done it without my amazing family and friends who support my wild dreams. I am so happy to have collaborated with @omg_reeley for this. Jake is one of the most talented composers I know and I’m so so grateful to get to work with them 💖 I will never forget the night we sat down and came up with the one and only Susan Anne Marie Belle 💖 Did I tell them I would only need 2 mins max of music? Yes, yes I did. Did that turn into 15 minutes with a new original song? Yes, yes it did. Thank you to my parents who did absolutely everything to get me what I needed and opened their home to my friends so we could make this a reality. I am so blessed in so many ways. In the spring of 2024, I attended my first-ever Ebertfest. Little did I know, it would change my perception of the movie-watching experience forever. In 2026, I will be forever changed by the wonderful experiences Ebertfest has given me. While I am sad I only got three years, I am so incredibly grateful to have gotten to share it with such amazing people. Thank you @ktothelau and @madebykal for allowing me to work backstage with you! I feel so incredibly blessed to have found these strangers like me. This semester, I made the most FANTASTIC friends while simultaneously making movies, hitting the library on Tuesday nights, and partaking in countless late night floor crash outs. To say 2024 was a year to remember would be an understatement… To my friends and family, thank you for always being by my side. Without you, I could have never made the amazing films I released this year. Thank you for being my cast, crew, and support team. I cannot wait to make more movies with you. Thank you for always being by my side. From almost losing both my grandparents on Easter to barely escaping a Category 4 hurricane taught me to appreciate every single moment I have here on earth with the people I love.
