On March 19th we hosted an evening of readings in collaboration
@adultsentertained @jamesmassiah &
@sophiakell.y exploring Loss, Hope & Transformation on the Eve of the Spring Equinox at
@referencepoint180
We came together creatively to explore grief of all kinds, something which can be very lonely, with our communities. There are no words for the gratitude we all felt to get to connect with so many inspiring people, with many different experiences and the vast connection points too. It was humbling to see how many people came together for poetry and grief - it was a stretch to imagine that people would be open to this let alone a packed out house with over 300 people❤️
It was wonderful to be able to celebrate one another and co-create, with every single person there, an atmosphere that was abundant in all the good things in life. Not something that is easy to imagine in the eye of the storm of loss.
To anyone who might be feeling alone, you are not. To anyone feeling without hope, it will find you. You are stronger than you know and we’re all waiting for you with open arms.
Thank you to all the poets who took part in making this evening what it was 🫶
