A little behind the scenes from my @youmagazine cover, out today in celebration of How To Go Plant Based 💞💞💞 Feel very proud and incredibly humbled by the opportunities we have right now, as I said in the interview, our life is in fast forward, but it’s the privilege of a lifetime to get to build deliciously ella 🌱 Picture director: @Esterpicturedirector Photographer @helenmcardlephoto Illustrations @JoBirdillustration Stylist: @sashabarrie Make-Up: @jessemakeup Hair: @wilsonhorweifok @youmagazine

I remember when we got our first listing for Deliciously Ella back in 2016 and how incredibly exciting it felt. Seeing our new brand @allplants begin to take similar steps fills us both with that same level of excitement ten years later. From today, you can find our delicious crispy tofu goujons and our veg-filled, Italian-made tortelloni in big @sainsburys stores. The UK has never needed to eat plants more than we do today. At a moment when we’re eating fewer vegetables than at any point in the last 50 years and our healthspan is declining, making plant-first food delicious and accessible feels more important than ever. Very proud of @allplants and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds as we double down on what we’re doing 👏🏻

Ad. I’ve spent the last 15 years trying different things for my health. I’ve tried all sorts of trends and fads, gadgets and gizmos, but these are the five pillars that have really worked for me. First is really prioritising my gut health, taking a daily shot of live, active bactiera - I use @symproveyourlife as its a fermented liquid, I also add in fermented foods like kimchi and sourdough, and make sure I get my 30 plants a week. Second is getting outside as early as I can, even if it’s just ten minutes, and really noticing how much it shifts my energy and mood across the day. Thirdly, moving my body consistently, not intensely or following any big trends, just showing up a few times a week, keeping it simple and letting go of that all-or-nothing mindset. Fourth is managing stress, not just pushing through it, so daily meditation, creating small moments to slow down, and being much more intentional with my phone and social media use. And finally, prioritising sleep, going to bed earlier, winding down properly in the evenings, and treating it as something completely non-negotiable. None of it is complicated, but doing it consistently has genuinely changed how I feel. For @symproveyourlife , you can get 50% off your first 12 weeks of a Symprove subscription with ELLA50

Celebrating International Women’s Day 💛 Deliciously Ella began with a very personal story from our female founder, @ella.mills__ It started with a focus on eating real food again and discovering the joy of simple, nourishing meals. What began as one person reconnecting with food slowly grew into something much bigger: a shared belief in eating real food again, with more plants, more of the time. As Ella learnt to cook and began sharing her recipes, a community formed around that idea. From the very beginning it became about more than recipes. It became about celebrating simple ingredients, colourful plants and everyday cooking, and bringing people together around real food. To celebrate International Women’s Day and our origins, we dug through the past ten years to share a few throwback moments from the journey that started it all. We’re so grateful to everyone who has been part of the story along the way, and to this incredible community that continues to champion real food and more plants, more of the time 🌱
