Welcoming back Meejin Yoon of @howeleryoonarchitecture and @cornellaap . Don’t miss tonight’s @tecnoglassinc lecture “Forms of Agency: Test Cases in Building Possibilities” at 6:30 pm in the Perez Building!
Led by Professors Pablo Sequero (Syracuse Visiting Critic, partner at SalazarSequeroMedina) and Lily Chishan Wong (UM Assistant Professor, Syracuse Boghosian Fellow ’22–’23), our new Seaside Adaptations initiative brings Syracuse and U-SoA students together to tackle the pressing realities of climate change in Miami and New York.
This four-year collaboration, supported by Perkins&Will, connects shared studio work, public programming, and cross-city dialogue to explore architecture’s role in coastal resilience. By focusing on adaptive design within existing urban fabrics, the studios challenge students to imagine—and shape—collective, climate-secure coastal futures.
Special thanks to Dean Michael Speaks of Syracuse University and Dean Rodolphe el-Khoury of U-SoA for their continued support.
