This week on the blog we’re sharing one of @elizabethweisel ’s excellent stories. She is a powerhouse writer, friend to all, note-giver extraordinaire. Read it, love it, share it.
A little lunchtime dance sketch from @lindyfest 🌴
For Sam’s birthday last year I gave a ground breaking presentation on why I hate palm trees, so when I saw a courtyard full of them at the hotel this year I knew we had to dance there. I’d never done a little collaborative solo choreography before, but wanted to try something new. Sam was such a willing a willing and creative buddy, I am no longer scared of it and can’t wait to do more ✨
🎵: Yacht Club Swing - Fats Waller
(I’m truly sorry to everyone at the event that I infected with this earworm but look I turned it into something!!)

Last night’s Journal Club was a mediation on realizations that came too late, goodbyes that came too soon, and moments that stayed with us long after. Let’s do it again next month! ✏️✍🏽📓
It’s a very special thing to visit a friend you dearly miss, but it’s a whole other thing for her to stock your go-to breakfast foods, take you out dancing, bring you to a special store to try a new sour candy, introduce you to her cool friends, and chauffeur you to the ocean and the mountains and the trees because she knows you need them. Thank you @sarahbibel for a week in Portland I will not soon forget✨🌲
Every passing year it becomes clear that each one is filled with joy and filled with pain and in between I must live a life of levity. I want even more goofin, more joking, more dancing, more silly silly fun days and laughabout evenings. If 2026 is going to be joy and going to be pain, let’s fill it with color 💖
Had such a fun time competing in the @frimframjam Framiversary contest with @ajaytungare a few weeks ago. This little finals jam felt so relaxed, comfortable, and connected; it’s a real privilege to get to express myself on the dance floor, to do it with a friend and to share it with our community. Winning was just an extra treat! Cheers to everyone we got to share the floor with, what a special night ✨
✨34✨ For my birthday this year I decided not to be introspective or set any goals or reflect on my life, I wanted to just BE. I was who I was yesterday, I am who I am today, I’ll be who I’ll be tomorrow. But for now, I’m celebrating who I am: a smart, funny, jacked lady who made this outfit and loves disco and tracks her protein and just IS.
