SOUND ON - this is the fabulous Francesco Pepe mixing our live band sound from THE CLOSET BEHIND THE BAND - in the middle of our two week tour in Southeast Asia with my band The Revels, our soundboard stopped being able to talk to our IPads, leaving our wonderful Italian sound team with no choice but to mix in a closed room behind the stage, communicating with the team in front by WhatsApp message. As you can hear, it still came out great, and watching him dance makes me happy every time. sorry to put you on the spot - but I love you guys!

Aaron Malone and I went to the Peabody Conservatory to record an album of improvised music based on classical themes - we called it Breaking Bartok. We ran three takes for each piece, but of course only one of each made it on the album.
