Élise Ludinard presents THROWING LIKE A GIRL in @denieuwevorst as part of @tilburg_under_construction ⁉️⁉️ Throw like a girl, climb like a girl, hit like a girl, run like a girl... It’s going to be all about throwing and projecting the injunctions that weigh upon our female bodies. And my body will become a territory of pleasure, a playground where I manipulate these injunctions. It will be about rest, resistance and recovery. Élise is a choreographer and dancer based in Brussels whose practice navigates between choreography and performance while focusing on poetry, performing gender, pleasure, and strategies of resistance and repair. After gratuating in 2019 from SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) and supported by the German independent scene, she created her own works "Cold Lips and Backbone" (2023), "Souvenirs de Chair" (2024). She was later on selected for the ATLAS program at ImPulsTanz (2025), where she began the project "Throwing like a girl". In parallel she is a member of the HOEK collective for five years, and co-directs the dance festival TOP FLOOR. Lancer comme une fille, grimper comme une fille, taper comme une fille, courir comme une fille,... It’s gonna be all about throwing, jeter et projeter des injonctions qui pèsent sur nos corps de femmes. Projeter des mots contre les murs, projeter des mouvements qui s’éparpilleront, se gaspilleront, feront échos parfois.
