Sometimes people tell me that they are too intimidated to dance with me…
But…
I tell everyone that my dancing is rated E for every body 🤪 send me your friends that started TODAY and let’s ball 🏀 😘
Honestly, it can be a two way street, since I can get intimidated too. 🥺
Because when you care, you feel the pressure to be good, to live up to expectations, to give your partner a dance worth remembering.
But the only way to “ruin” a dance, is by not having one. 💃🪩

There’s a lot I could say about this dance.
I’ll just say this: it made me All-Star eligible.
The lord really has enjoyed giving me the character development route through out this journey 🤣 I keep telling him to take me off the auto subscription for being one of his strongest soldiers, But overall I am grateful for it.
My first novice final was Oct of 2023. My becoming eligible for Allstar is April of 2026 ✨⭐️✨
What you don’t see is my first month learning this dance, thinking it was so intimidating and I couldn’t never do it. I just had started learning how to dance country in a bar for the last year, and everyone told me to try to learn wcs and then compete! I said okay, it was the beginning of 2023. I tried it for a couple months, tried to compete in a newcomer comp, didn’t make it out of prelims, and felt that whole weekend like no one wanted to dance with me and I wasn’t good enough to be there. So I quit, lol. Then in July that year, Wild wild westie was local to me and my friends encouraged me to try again. They were all going, so I did. I made it to quarter finals, and then no further. But I had the time of my LIFE social dancing, and had a much better experience here than I did at the last one. I figured I would stay this time, and I am so happy that I did ❤️ It wasn’t much longer before I started seeing progress, then results, then rapid movement up. Too rapid actually, I struggled with imposter syndrome a ton and tried to rebuild the foundations of my dance countless times. I still couldn’t tell you that I feel “All Star ready”, I actually finally feel ready for advanced 😅😂 And since I personally am in no rush, I am going to stay in advanced until I’m kicked out 🕺🏻💃🏻❤️
