✨5/10/25✨ I never imagined this magical of a day was even possible. I married my best friend, surrounded by family (more pics to come) and sunshine and trees and love, just as I dreamed, and I am so lucky to spend the rest of my life with him.
This Pride Month, I hold close the truth that queer love is resistance. Queer marriage is resistance. Trans joy is resistance. And none of that is a quiet thing- it’s radical and it’s loud and it’s powerful. I am forever grateful for all of the queer and trans people who have fought for my ability to be who I am and to marry who I love. My community has always fought and we will continue fighting 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

My wish is that all trans children receive the love and support I received as a young child. I will forever cherish those childhood memories and the safety I felt. I might have just lost that parental support, but now *I* am the protector of baby Eliot. She is safe with me. I am so grateful for the love I have surrounding me and the family I have created for myself. And I am so lucky for my partner and the life we are stepping into. To my mom: You’ve hurt me in a way I didn’t think you were capable of, but just know that I will keep the lessons that you shared all those years ago alive. Remember: There are no mistakes, we are all beautiful in our own unique ways, and don’t be afraid to let your true colors shine.
Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️⚧️ Weathering the storm with a head held high remains to be a daily challenge, with new obstacles emerging all the time. My support system is my light and my strength and I wouldn’t be here without them. Allies: step up. We deserve it.
