Here’s what helped me feel stronger, more energized, and healthier without overcomplicating things:
1️⃣ Boosting my protein intake: Adding more protein to my meals has been a game-changer. It keeps me full, helps with muscle recovery, and has completely transformed my body composition. It’s all about fueling your body the right way. 💪
2️⃣ Eating bigger, satisfying meals: I used to skip meals and end up binging on snacks, but now I stick to 3-4 hearty meals a day. It helps me avoid constant snacking, and I actually feel full and energized throughout the day. 🙌
3️⃣ Choosing whole foods (most of the time): I aim for 80% whole, nutritious foods—think fresh veggies, fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains. It makes me feel energized, keeps my skin glowing, and just makes life better. But yes, I still love my treats! Balance is key. ✨
4️⃣ Enjoying soul foods guilt-free: Chocolate, crisps, or a little dessert here and there—these are non-negotiable for me! Allowing myself these indulgences keeps me from feeling restricted, so I can actually stick to my routine. The 80/20 rule works wonders. 🤤
5️⃣ Keeping it simple: I don’t overthink my meals. I stick to simple, easy-to-make options that I enjoy and repeat them throughout the week.
