Sometimes I get so caught up in creating, with ideas bubbling up and projects following one after another, that I don’t stop enough to appreciate what I’ve accomplished. In 2021, one of my creations was published in Vogue Germany. Two more Vogue features followed. VOGUE!! If only you knew what that means for an independent designer like me… The student I was in fashion school would have never dared to dream of something like this. But it happened.
It’s a huge moment, confirming that every effort, every sacrifice, every hour spent working on my brand has paid off. For a small brand like Elif Studios, being featured in the pages of Vogue is proof that anything is possible, even when you’re starting from scratch.
Because, yes, this dream became reality. And this dream isn’t just mine. It belongs to everyone who still believes in a different kind of fashion. Thank you to my younger self, to Vogue, and to all of you for believing in my creations and making Elif Studios what it is today.
