Still cannot believe what an amazing experience I had at the Venice Film Festival! I’m truly humbled and honored to be attached to this wonderful project. Thank you to the @syntaxensemble for your amazing musicianship and bringing this score to life! It was a surreal moment seeing Francis Ford Coppola and Alexander Payne sitting on our row for this screening. Thank you to Dennis, Amy, and the entire @milestone_films team for your hard work on this film!
I’m also excited to announce that Queen Kelly will be screening on September 30th at the 63rd New York Film Festival at Lincoln Center! I have been a long time admirer of NYFF and their programming, and to seeing this film be a part of this festival is beyond my wildest dreams. This screening will feature the wonderful recording of my score from my Alma mater (IU Jacobs School of Music). If you’re in NYC I hope you get the chance to attend!

Last semester I had the privilege of recording one of my cues with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra in Budapest, Hungary. The music is my reimagining of a scene from the game “Torn.” It was such an honor to work with such incredible musicians, and a huge thank you to Prof. Garry Schyman for the opportunity!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Brazilian cinema, but these were some serious heavy hitters that were first time watches for me. Go explore some of Brazil’s rich film history and let me know what you think I should watch!

We’ve been keeping a secret... and it’s from a galaxy far, far away! We are ecstatic to finally share that the NOTUS ensemble, under the direction of Dominick DiOrio, provided the choral tracks for the first episode of the new @starwars animated series, ‘Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord.’
The project featured an incredible collaboration with composer Kevin Kiner and alumnus @elidenson , alongside @iumusicindustry faculty member Michael Stucker and his students.

This one truly blew me away. Watching these Thai films this month exposed me to so many incredible film makers with such a unique voice. The cinematic language used is so diverse and varied, and I enjoyed every minute of it. If you haven’t watched many films from Thailand, I highly recommend!
Each month in 2026, I’m choosing a different country and watching four films from it. Some countries I’ve already seen several films from; most I’ll be largely unfamiliar with. The goal is to expose myself to as many different international filmmakers as possible so I can develop a broader understanding of the cinematic medium as a whole.
